Avoiding file Corruption

Just to add my two cents, Lectora has been very good for me in properly restoring AWT files after software crashes. Only one instance it didn't restore properly, and that was due to power loss on a desktop machine, NOT Lectora crashing. But if you are unsure, upon opening the recovered file, perform a diligent check of pages, chapters, etc., and compare file size to your last "good" version (assuming you have backed up on a server, etc.). If there is major deviation in compared file size, you may want to "bite the bullet" and start from the last good version.Edited By: JDH on 2008-9-4 22:39:27
