Need ideas / tips on converting classroom to eLearning. What have you learned the hard way?

I have learned that it is generally a bad idea. You should always start from scratch, do the usual business goal setting, training needs analysis, instructional design etc. etc. Treat the face-to-face training as just another piece of content you'll use when building the online training, not anything more than that.
