Improve left panel behavior

Right now when you collapse items in the left panel, the panel moves down from the top and up from the bottom at the same time. Problem is that your eyes AND your cursor are focused on one area. When you collapse it, EVERYTHING moves -- and then you have to hunt for where you were. It would be better if when you clicked on a "-" sign, the line clicked on stayed put and the lines below just collapsed upward. See MS Word outline view for an example.
The persistence in the left panel is a great improvement. Consider remembering the width of the panel. I keep having to make it wider. thanks, benEdited By: bpitman on 2006-2-22 16:34:8
