Getting a variable set to a carriage retu

Adding to your question, I would like to know if it is possible, and if so, how, to add a text box with a scroll down bar. This text box is intended to add information through the course, when specific information is asked by the user. Ex: When the user selects a sub-item from a menu, the result or information corresponding to that sub-menu would add automatically in this text box.Can someone please help me?Thanks!
