Moving objects within a group

Yeah, I posted about this in another area.....here is what is strange.....if you click on the properties of the specific object you want, you can put in the new location by coordinates and it will move ONLY that particular object....yet if you give that object the focus and try to move it with the mouse it moves everything in the group as if the entire group had the focus.
