Where is a retained variable value stored in SCORM publish?

Excellent - thanks! I want to use a variable to track which modules a learner has completed (over a period of days, not in one sitting) so I can use that as a condition for setting the completion status. Sounds like that will work fine, if I set the variable to be retained. :)
