Can You Copy a Note?

You can copy the text of a note but I have not found a way to copy the note as a unit. You notice notes do not appear in the left pane of the writer. From an open note you can select and copy text but unfortunately you have to add note to another page, open it and paste to get the same material in two different notes.You can copy the text of a note but I have not found a way to copy the note as a unit.
