Has Anyone Created a REAL Flash Card Interaction?
October 2, 2015 12:00 AM
I need a real flash-card interaction that I can use in one of my e-courses. The one from eLearning Brothers is basically just a quiz, with the questions dressed up as flash cards, IMHO. With "real" flash cards, the point is that you can go through each card looking at the front and seeing if you can guess what's on the back and then indicate whether you got it wrong or right (up to that point, the eLB interaction is just fine), and then when you've gone through the whole "pack" of cards, it should keep rotating you back through the ones you got wrong until you've marked them all as having gotten them right, instead of stopping at the end of the first go-round and showing you what percentage you got right vs. wrong (that's just a glorified quiz)!
Before I take the eLB version and try to figure out how to reprogram it to do what I think it should do, I thought I'd check in and see if anyone else has already done this and might be willing to share it, either with the whole Lectora community (via the online library) or at least with me, via email or whatever.
I know this is a long shot, but I figure it never hurts to ask! :)
(If no one has done this, maybe I should submit it to Trivantis as a suggestion in the forum they have for Lectora suggestions, because I don't see where/how to submit the suggestion to eLearning Brothers...)

Hi Laura,
I redid my original flashcard interaction at your request to make it continue to repeat only missed cards until all cards are known. Does it still not work they way you expected?

Laura,
I left a reply for you over on the Share page for the interaction.

You seemed to get my reply to this forum thread this morning. But apparently you did not get the replies I left for you back in July on the Share page for the original interaction. I suppose they could have gone into your spam folder or something. In any case, I just wanted to make sure that you saw I replied to you over there. If you need any more help with the interaction, please feel free to give me a buzz on here. I'm happy to help if I can.
