How can I make background music smooth?

What do you mean by "smooth"? Do you want the volume to be similar throughout?
At present, there is a jerk when transitioning from one slide to another.
You want the music to play continuously as you change slides, with no pause?
Are you publishing using Seamless?
@carlfink - I was just doing preview, and realized that transition isn't smooth.
You might test actually publishing the course rather than previewing. They aren't quite identical.
