Actually, with custom scripting, you can have the Flash Object report when it has completed so that other events can occur. This can either be done in the Flash file itself, or in the Captivate file itself, or by having an external script monitor the frame position of the flash file without anything required in the source file.Without plugins or scripting enabled the browser doesn't "do" anything.SB
