done playing problem for simple flash file

This problem is a pain. I am using Lectora x. Let's say I have a swf and set an action for "done playing". I have noticed that the "done playing" action will only work once on an html page. In other words, if I say stop, hide and then show the swf again the done playing action will not run. It is as if Lectora registers a variable for done playing once for that page and there is no way to reset it unless the page is reloaded. Anybody else experience this?
This issue is a problem. I frequently have situations where I want to re-play a swf on a page. Replaying the swf on a page is fine and works, the "done playing" action is only fine the first time.
Any suggestions? Anybody not experience this?
