referencing lectora variable

Hi there,I've defined a user variable using Tools - Manage Variables. I've called the variable number6 and given it the value 6. I have created an external html object of type 'other'.In it I have the following javascript function,When running in html and calling the function from a button, I just get an error saying that number6 is undefined.Does anybody know how I get this to work?cheers
