modify variable in html external object

Dear TimThanks for your reply. It sounds pretty straightforward and it shouldn't be taking so much efforts to build. But the fact is, I cannot seem to get it working...So I hope I can count on your help once more, would you be so kind to take a quick look at the test module I've created (Lectora 2006) and tell me what I did wrong?In this module I've created several pages and I try in the two ways you explained to change the variable contents of Total to '9'...Test ModuleWould it else be possible to provide me with a simple example of a lectora module with some javascript in external html objects, so I can see how it should be done.thanks!!!
