No way to change video caption font styles?

I might be wrong or missing something, but it sure appears that LectoraX's flash video player does not allow for different fonts, colors, and styles. Here is a portion of my XML:
Mother:
Mattie Beth is interested in soccer.
She plays dress up, she often does her homework in a crown and ball gown.

Is this something that people are aware of? I've searched the forum and haven't seen anything.
