Bug with Video Encoder in 2008

I am certainly sorry you feel this way. This was not something that should have been caught in testing as it was never intended to function. It was never programmed to work with RM or RAM files, hence it passing all the testing phases. I don't know what your sales rep told you as that is something you can take up with them. I was not there in that conversation so I can't speak for anyone. As for support, as I mentioned in my other post, they were not informed and that is something we apologize for. It was not support's intent to just tell you what you wanted to hear to get you off the phone, as they did report it as a bug and it was explained to them that it was not ever intended to function with these files so the bug was closed. I can't say this will never be placed in the tool but at the same time I can't say it will. In the other post, you mention you compress all your files prior to bringing them into Lectora, so hopefully not recompressing these files into a FLV format will not affect your titles. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and if you would like, you can contact the sales rep with whom you spoke to and discuss it with them. I hope you will continue to use the tool and find it beneficial to your needs.I am certainly sorry you feel this way.
