Security for Lectora Lessons
October 7, 2016 12:00 AM
Hello everyone.
I have been wondering how you secure your lessons so that they are not leeched off. I guess the obvious way to do it is to use an established LMS but that is an option I do not wish to pursue. The solution I have come up with is to oblige users to login to a CMS, make a request from within the CMS and protect the directory which contains the lessons with a htaccess file which refuses access to any connection which is not referred by the CMS.
I would prefer to store the lesson files above the root of the webserver but I do not see how I would be able to serve the lessons.
So... how do you protect your files and any views on my arrangement?
Thanks and all the best
Andrew
