Retrieving and displaying information from Google Docs

Hello
I can see how to store stuff on google docs. It has been made very easy with the templates provided. Now I would like to retrieve a selection of that information and then display it inside a Lectora lesson. Is there an approved way of doing this?

You can use Google Sheets API to access any data in a spreadsheet via JS.
