Preventing browsers from caching Lectora Lessons

Hello

For security reasons, I would like to prevent users of Lectora lessons from caching the lessons in their browsers. I have seen various bits of code on the Internet but thought I would ask the community:

(a) Is it possible to prevent caching (I know that nothing is totally safe)? and

(b) What code would you recommend and where would you put it in the Lectora lesson (or elsewhere)?

Thanks very much

Andrew

This may not be exactly what you are looking for but you could change caching options, even prevent it altogether, by altering your htaccess file on your server (Apache). Use caution though because you can really mess things up poking around in there if you're not sure of what your doing. Also, like you said, nothing is totally safe.

Thanks Darrel. Actually that is a better solution than having a lesson-based solution as it is a generalised solution and would not require lesson-writers to remember to clean the cache. I do play around a bit with htaccess but am not aware of any commands for controlling caching options - BUT the caching needs to be stopped in the browser not on the server. :)

cheers
