Events and actions

Hello - I have not been around for a while but back now.
I have a question about events and actions in videos in Publisher 16. I note the following:
(a) Actions are associated with events through the "sync events" button.
(b) It is not possible to associate more than 1 action with 1 event
(c) The actions cannot be delayed (as is the case with a normal action which can be delayed). I would like to delay an action.
Actually, the reason I am enquiring about all of this is that I am trying to get a video to play to a certain point (marked by an event), stop and restart after a short delay. I don't particularly want to code it in JS if possible (or to manipulate the video).
Any insights?

I think I may have solved it.
I created an Action Group containing the necessary actions (including the starting delays) then called that from the video event.

What about the sync events menu being disabled? I have a 1 minute .mp4 video and cannot click anything once I select Sync Events

Have you added event times to the video itself? To add events, you edit the video and add them at specific time stamps. Once you have the events setup on the video, you can then sync them to the action or action group.
And when the Edit pencil is disabled??
Video was created in Camtasia and exported for Lectora Output. Also tried standard .mp4?
Try opening the file in the video editor located in the tools tab.
