Pico VR Headset No Controller

I have a Pico G2 4K headset and the Cenario app installed. I switched the device on and am using without the controller. I move my head and align the light blue pointer dot to the CenarioVR app and use the headset confirm button to open.
Upon opening I am on the list of scenarios screen. The problem I have is I can't do anything else, the blue dot has disappeared so I can't point and then click into a Cenario. Can this be fixed?

With the VR headset, you'll need to use the controller for selection. Is there an issue using the controller?

The CenarioVR app works with the controller but because we will be training multiple staff at once we want to make the process as simple as possible.
The hands free option was a key selling point on the Pico headsets, its unfortunate that not all apps can make use of this feature.
