Repeat simple 'animation'
September 10, 2010 12:00 AM
Hello all... is everyone on holidays today? No activity at all in here. lol
Hopefully, there is a simple answer to this little problem I am experiencing.
I have created a simple animation, which is actually a sequence of four .png images. I have timed them so that they transition one after the other and it looks good for the one time it plays.
What I want to do is play this sequence an infinite number of times. How can I accomplish this?
This is how I have it set up (admittedly it is not very elegant, if there is a better way... please creatively criticize away!) :-)
Group_Animation
___img1
_____Transition In (Transition Type: Appear), DELAY: 6 seconds
_______ON: SHOW, HIDE: This Object, DELAY: 15 seconds
___img2
_____Transition In (Transition Type: Dissolve), DELAY: 8 seconds
_______ON: SHOW, HIDE: This Object, DELAY: 4 seconds
___img3
_____Transition In (Transition Type: Appear), DELAY: 12 seconds
_______ON: SHOW, HIDE: This Object, DELAY: 9 seconds
___img4
_____Transition In (Transition Type: Dissolve), DELAY: 16 seconds
_______ON: SHOW, HIDE: This Object, DELAY: 4 seconds
Action
__ON: Show
____ACTION: Run Action Group
______TARGET: Group_Animation
Action
__ON: Timer, TIMER INTERVAL: 20 seconds, DELAY: 6 seconds
____ACTION: Run Action Group
______TARGET: Group_Animation
The problem is that no matter what I do, I cannot seem to make an ON: TIMER action to work. The animation only runs once.
Any suggestions?
