How to stop a SWF video?

Can someone please tell me how to stop a SWF video within Lectora?
I have a number of interactive software simulations that were created with Captivate 5.
They start on demand (by the learner) using a Lectora button Actions:
On Mouse Click, Show Target: Animation
On Mouse Click, Play Target: Animation
The Show Action, unhides the Animation and the Play Action, Plays. This part works!
The Stop button, has the following actions:
On Mouse Click, Stop Target: Animation
On Mouse Click, Hide Target: Animation
This part DOES NOT work! When the stop button is clicked, the animation hides, but it continues to play. What's more, the audio inexplicably doubles up (it's playing twice or more depending on how many times the stop button is clicked).
This above controls and videos work in F10 and F11 preview modes...
but DO NOT work in F9 or Published (on LMS).
Can I buy a clue?
