Considering a switch from Adobe Captivate 4 to Lectora

I use them both. I recommend using both of them.

I have a extensive experience with both Lectora 2005 and RWD uPerform and prior to joining this organization, I was well acquainted with recording simulations with Captivate 3 and inserting them into Lectora. However, much to my disappointment, using Captivate in a similar manner to how I used Lectora 2005 is proving to be somewhat of a nightmare. Captivate 4 button controls are horrible for anything but the simple controls and to create a 'slide' with 5 buttons and 5 pop-ups is quite unruly, especially compared to Lectora. My questions are: - Has anyone else been is a similar position that I am in? - Is there a product comparison matrix on the Trivantis website? I could not find one. What are the primary differences between Lectora Publisher and Lectora Pro Suite? - My organization cannot afford Course Mill, what other worthy (and possibly free) LMS/SCORM servers are worth considering? - Alternatively... I believe Lectora can output in a format compatible with Adobe Connect Pro (are there caveats?)... or Lectora Online... is this similar? How do they compare? Thank you, Shawn
