Opening a AICC course without .awt file.
January 6, 2005 12:00 AM
I was recently given a handful of published AICC courses that need to be made into SCORM. Problem is, we don't have the Lectora .awt file for them, just the published content. If you go to the HTML of the published content and launch index.html, the course runs fine.Is there any way to get this imported into Lectora, or do I have to rebuild each page 1 by 1?

::Bump::I guess it is safe to assume then there is no way to do this. I will have to open each published HTML page up and copy and paste it over.Even if I can't get the functionality imported into Lectora (I never expected that to import), if I could just get the the pages in and I'll the the functions myself... It is a LOT of pages to copy and paste...
The AWT file is no where to be found, neither is the person that built it. I think he left on bad terms and might have erased it.I know that the functionality of the course would not import, I was just hopeing I could copy the exact html page in, (Pics, text, etc....). I would then make it functional again. I just didn't want to spend a week playing the copy and paste game.
Who originally authored the course? Is there no version of the AWT file anywhere to be found? Unfortunately, we cannot rebuild the title strictly from the published HTML content. If we could, we would have to have written a lot of extraneous extra information into the HTML file to properly reconstruct the title, and we opted not to support this to save space in the HTML.Tim V
Unfortunately, without the AWT it's cut-n-paste city.Tim V
