Chapters, Sections, and pages.

Is there a plan to build in drag and drop re-ordering of any object in future releases? 'Twould be grand.

Is this in 2006? I can't get this to work in 2005. I guess what is says above is true

You're not doing anything wrong, there is just no way to place pages after sections (at least not that I know of). A simple work around I have used is to just put all my pages in sections and sort accordingly.

Yes, 2006 works this way. 2005 I no longer remember. benYes, 2006 works this way. 2005 I no longer remember. ben

It's not all that hard to do. I just did it. Create your chapter, sections, and pages. Collapse all the sections so all you see are the sections and chapter level pages. Then you can drag and drop the pages where you want them. But be on the watch. As you drag a page: - If a section gets highlighted, it will go inside the section, not between it and the next.- If there is a black line between two sections, then it will appear at the between the two sections. Now here is where you have to watch carefully. When you drag it after the last section the black separator bar will take first be shorter and then as you drag a couple more just a bit more, it gets long. If you let go when it is short, then the page goes at the chapter level after the last section. If you let it go when the bar is long, the page goes at the title level. Maybe an easier way is to create your chapter level pages at the beginning of the chapter first and then drag the sections between them. Again, I the secrete for me is to collapse the sections before messing around.cheers, ben

I have a question about the order of pages and sections in a chapter. I have a chapter that includes pages and a section. When I put the section in, it automaticcly goes to the last page of the chapter. No mater what I do to re-order them, the section always snaps to the bottem of the chapter. I can re-order the pages themselves. Am I doing something wrong?I have a question about the order of pages and sections in a chapter. I have a chapter that includes pages and a section.
