LMSSetValue error: Data Model Element Type Mismatch
June 1, 2010 12:00 AM
I cannot believe it, I am seeing this darn error message again. I thought I had long ago solved this issue.
I don't understand why/how this error came back!
However, it is not quite the same as the last time.
#1. The values I am sending to the LMS seem identical between a lesson that works and the lessons that are giving this error message.
This is what makes this so confusing. I compared the content - line by line between the working test and the ones that cause this error. They appear identical!
#2. After I click OK to the error message (x2), the lessons report the correct data to the LMS.
#3. The error occurs in the test section and appears to occur when sending
CMI_Completion_Status (value: completed).
As you may recall, SCORM 2004 in Lectora X must include the above variable along with:
AICC_Lesson_Status (value: passed or failed)
To recap:
I am receiving the above error, when I send the following to the Inquisiq LMS:
CMI_Completion_Status (value: completed)
AICC_Lesson_Status (value: passed or failed)
The lesson section (not graded), is successfully (no errors appear) sending:
CMI_Completion_Status (value: completed)
AICC_Score (value: 100)
Finally, I have successfully tested my lessons on http://testtrack.scorm.com and no errors appear.
Do you have any idea what is wrong?
