Linking to another AU within a Lectora course

As a result of feedback, a number of learners complained that it wasn't very clear where to take a test, after the learner completed the lesson.
Believe me, the instructions seem pretty clear on the last page of each lesson; when the learner clicks EXIT [lesson] the window will close and their next step is to take the test. On the LMS, this is the next item listed under the lesson. It is pretty clear (to me).
In order to make this 'easier' for the learner, I decided to create two buttons on the last page of the lesson. One button allows the learner to exit the lesson (take test at a later time), the other button will take the learner directly to the test.
Using:
On Click:
___Target: Chapter, Section, or Page
______ Name: Test AU____Scroll To: Top of Page
The lesson and test are two separate AUs within Lectora. All my tests (off LMS) demonstrated that this new idea worked.
UNFORTUNATELY, I did not realize that linking to multiple AUs is not allowed in SCORM! :-(
When I try to build the Lectora SCORM, I see the message, "The SCORM/Web-based standard restricts the author from creating links between multiple AUs. On the Web, the transitioning between AUs is a function of the LMS."
Darn!!!! My solution worked very well (off-line) and now I find that I cannot do this!
Also, I cannot link using a URL b/c every link on the LMS is dynamic.
Can anyone suggest an alternative way to make it 'easier' for the learner to go from lesson to test?
Thank you
