Lectora X - Zoom Mode BUG
April 21, 2010 12:00 AM
Has anyone noticed the BUG in Lectora X (unsure if this is a problem in other versions) where x/y coordinates are not accurate and jump around a bit.
I have only tested the 75% setting.
This is what occurs (consistent and repeatable) on ANY object:
Place a text object (does not matter what type of object) on the page and manually enter x=30 y=not important, then click OK.
Notice the X coordinate at bottom of screen. It will often show another value (e.g. 29).
Select object and move up/down... you will see the x coordinate will often (not always) deviate by +/- 2 pixels. Additionally, the object DOES NOT MOVE 1 pixel at a time.
Note: This inaccuracy also occurs on the y axis as well.
Thus, the only way to ensure accurate x/y axis positioning is by always working at 100%.
This is really annoying when screen real estate is limited.
