Importing questions into Lectora

I really would love to see a different import method than CSV. I have never really been able to use this. Fact is, I think the process itself is a bit too technical and it is easy to make a mistake in it. Problem is, a lot of people that work in Lectora may be Content Developers but not the Instructional Designers. For example, I am in Lectora 8 hours a day; the CSV file stuff is easy... if I was the one creating it. Trying to get a writer with NO technical aptitude to fill it in is impossible. Even if I could, I have vendors that create for use and too many outside sources; I can't make someone else’s job harder just so I can make mine faster. 100% of people that I deal with usually do something like this:
1. What is the model designation for the first generation MINI Cooper Hardtop?
a. R50
b. R52
c. R53
d. R55
2. What is the model designation for the first generation MINI Cooper S Hardtop?
a. R50
b. R52
c. R53
d. R55
They will give me 60 questions in Word; just like that... some have more choices than others, but always the same format. They will usually just make the correct answer(s) red or something. Having a test in Word seems to be the most natural way for someone to write it... not only int he writing, but in the review of it. You can hardly expect someone to review a question spread across all those colums in one row. I would love to see rather a standard Word Template that can be used to import questions, at the very least, the basic type, multiple Choice. If not, then perhaps a CSV template that works off of rows, not columns, where perhaps an empty row can designate a new question. If you were to arrange it that way, it would be easier to review and uses for people that do not use excel much... PLUS If I had to copy a word doc in and paste it in Excel like what I pasted above, it would at least all be in rows and I would have to just make minor changes instead of having to copy EVERY SET of questions and transpose them to change to rows.
Any ideas? Does anyone have any experience with making the CSV file user friendly for the computer challenged?
