FLV Cue editing revisited... what are you using?

There have been a number of discussions about creating audio cues.

But here I am again, wondering what on earth is better than what I have now.

I had mentioned that I was using the Moyea FLV Editor Ultimate product; however, this problem has become too buggy and unreliable! Since upgrading to Windows 7 64bit, it crashes about once every three edited audio files. Yes, I have tried various modes like WinXP compatibility, admin, etc. Nothing helps and their technical support is nothing short of abysmal.

Then there is the Trivantis AudioEditor (I have version 2.0 - so if there is something newer I'd like to know). While stable, it only offers the most rudimentary functions.

One of the most annoying issues with this program is that once you add your cues and then save your audio as FLV, you no longer see the waveform, play the audio, or edit the audio. So, if changes are required to the original wav, you must re-enter the cue points again. Sure, you can load the FLV and manually change the cue points... but you need the play the audio in a different program in order to determine the timings.

In my opinion, Trivantis should be ashamed to release such a poorly written tool. To make things even worse, Trivantis support will refuse to assist you with FLV cue problems IF you have used any other tool; I have already encountered this problem... which was a major reason for cancelling my technical support contract.

Asking again, can anyone suggest a better way to create cued audio?
