Confusion about the type of .flv file that is acceptable by Lectora
February 24, 2011 12:00 AM
I had mentioned earlier that I am trying to create Flash audio files with embedded cues for use in Lectora.
Two applications were tested:
1. Adobe Soundbooth CS4/5
2. Moyea FLV Editor Ultimate
Moyea creates .flv audio files with embedded cues that Lectora can read.
But Lectora does not recognise the embedded cues in a Soundbooth .flv audio file.
So I compared the two types of .flv files:
- Soundbooth .flv files contain XML data at the beginning and then binary data occurs after "".
- Moyea's FLV Editor Ultimate's .flv files are ALL binary data. There is no XML information preceding the binary data.
Is there really more than one type of .flv audio file? Is there a way to save .flv file WITHOUT the preceding XML data in Soundbooth?
Any thoughts?
