Bizarre Behavior in Lectora X (on Win 7)
May 28, 2010 12:00 AM
Hello folks,
My laptop was recently updated with Windows 7 (previously Vista). Since the update (actually new install), Lectora has been behaving in a number of strange ways, such as:
- Occasional problem -
With Lectora getting stuck in a weird state where only part of the application border appears. Application restart fixes this.
- Always present problem -
When text is selected, any near-by text (different text box) temporarily appears bold-like.
- Always present problem -
Mode/Preview in Browser only shows Internet Explorer and Firefox. It does not show any browsers (Chrome, Safari)
installed AFTER Lectora X was installed.
- Always present problem -
When selecting preview in browser (Firefox only), lessons behave very strange:
- automatic page numbering is messed up ("Page x of x" appears as "Page x of xx of x") in Firefox
- actions do not run
- cues in audio flv files do not work
Standard preview mode (F11) works.
Note: None of these issues were present prior to the Windows upgrade. It is also important to note that ONLY Lectora is exhibiting any odd behavior.
See attached screen captures.
