Annoying Warning Messages When Publishing (caused by flash animation)
May 19, 2010 12:00 AM
Hello folks,
After adding a flash animation that is placed over an image, I now see the following warning messages whenever I publish:
[page name]: The object (img_TOC_bar) is positioned on top of a flash movie or video (ani_mouse). All or part of it may be obscured by the flash movie or video.
There are 62 (one for each affected page) of these messages!
Yes, I know I placed the flash on top of the static graphic! I did it on purpose! Thanks for telling me... now don't tell me again!
It appears there is not enough granularity on the Publish Messages tab (Preferences).
I see the following selections:
[ ] Show only errors and warnings
[ ] Show HTML warnings
....[ ] Show warnings for resource sizes (yes, I want this)
....[ ] Show warnings for unused resources/vars (yes, I want this)
....[ ] Show warnings for Mac content (yes, I want this)
I am wondering if I must just put up with these messages?
It's not a huge problem actually... though, it would be nice not to see these warnings.
