Using a variable to show an image

SirWise, On which page(s) of the title do you want the check boxes to appear? (every page, first page of each chapter, etc.)When does the variable get set? When the learner simply displays the last page of the chapter? Other? From what I understand, you will not be able to use the same variable unless you want it to do something like: When 1 completed thru chapt 1, when 2 completed thru chapt 2, etc. (Not a good design because if the learner ever goes back to chapter 1 it will forget having completed the other chapters.) So use one variable for each chapter. At the end of each chapter set the variable for that chapter as you said. If you want these check boxes to appear on the first page of each chapter, put your check boxes and text that explains them on only those pages. Also put actions on those pages AT THE PAGE LEVEL: On show (which is now referring to the page) Action: Show; Target: the related check checkbox; Condition: if the variable for that chapter = 1.If on the other hand, you want these to show on ALL pages in something like a page header, then you can put these actions, the check boxes, and the text at the title level. If this does not solve your problem, please clarify your situation. cheers, benEdited By: bpitman on 2006-4-6 19:40:51
