Streaming Video

Thanks Sir... That did it.Let me clarify what I did for others in the forum.Installed Windows Media Encoder (which also gives you a few utilities) but the original link in this thread is NO GOOD, you will need to download here:Windows Media Encoder (corrected link)Once you install the .exe (WMEncoder.exe) you can then launch the app. Start -- Programs -- Windows Media -- Utilities -- Windows Media File Editor. Now load your .wmv file.To insert markers for use in Lectora, choose SCRIPT COMMANDS at the bottom right of the screen (NOT MARKERS) and you will need to enter three peices of information for each Script Marker:1. The "Time" interval 00:00:00.02. The "Type" (choose TEXT per SirWise)3. The "Parameter" which is a text field. Don't read too much into the Parameter field, it is basically the Identifying Tag for the Script Command. In my case, I just entered 01, 02 etc.Now load the .wmv file in Lectora and go to the Properties of the file. You will now have an active "EVENTS" tab.The events will be named with the information you put in the "PARAMETER" field when configuring the Script Command. You can choose to relay an action to each event etc. I am choosing to create Text boxes, hidden initially, then per these timed events display them. However, as indicated earlier in this thread, the results may not work if the video is streamed.I am trying to research further this solution and will post results when I solidify a solution.
