course completion tracking and bookmarkin

My course is being published 1. CD and 2. EXE. My first request is that Upon completion of the course, from the last page I want there to be an email sent that states that the course was completed. How exactly do I do that?Second request is not critical, but would be nice if when the user exits the course midway and returns, the course would prompt them to return where they left off or return to the beginning. How exactly is this done?
