auto naming Lectora Inspire elements

When i create a imagebutton, name it 'sword Button13699' ( i use Javascript a lot, so for me its convenient to see the htmlname of any element in the Explorer ) and then keeping that button selected create a new one... Lectora autonames that new button to 'sword Button13700'

I do like that, because it makes my name-giving quicker and easier...but what i even would prefer is that this would work cross-element. If i select an image, the autonaming does not use that images name to iterate. Would be a really nice feature.

true... even better...

or even better...give the user the option in prefs, to either use straight html-names for autonaming or add some prefix or postfix to it ;-)

I passed your suggestion along to the dev team :)

I would prefer that the auto name be the HTML name.

Do you mean being able to see what they are converted to before publishing?

...and please make the "Short ID-based"-page names available somewhere.

Yes, I'd like to know the file name of a page once it's published with "Convert to short ID-based page names" checked, so I can use it in javascript. It's not really urgent and of course I can find it out by just looking for the respective file in the html-folder but it would be helpful sometimes.

Thanks Tim

Tim, I've added the suggestion to our list.
