Adaptive, responsive and screen estate

One thing that has always bothered me is the limited use of your screen estate ( being available screen size ) in Lectora, both Online and Desktop. Nowadays users have screens that are very big, still the courses are limited to the predefined size of the course. If you check Articulate Rise and other online tools they often offer a component approach that uses the total screen-estate. So in your course you plan components, position them relatively, and when published the complete screen-estate is used. Not scaling, but adaptively using the full percentage of your view.
So what i would like to see in future releases is something like that. Create reusable components in Lectora. A text component, a drag-drop component, a page slider component. Add those to a view, even could be another programme, LectoraPlus, in which you can add components made in Lectora, and publish your adaptive course.

These are great observations on the available tools for instructional designers available in the market.
Our products are geared towards an approach where the user interface navigation is familiar to new users and is intuitive on the layout. We are further investigating approaches that focus on updating the user experience, such as an easier onboarding process for new users, and providing contemporary templates to get new instructional designers off and running. Our forte in the industry has, and will always be, to provide the most flexibility to allow advanced instructional designers the ability to create state of the art content.
To your point, we are open to considering new user experience design approaches and are very appreciative of the continued feedback that we receive in this forum.
