Bullet Issue in Publisher 4.1.
March 23, 2005 12:00 AM
For some reason in Publisher 4.1, whenever I create a bulleted list, the bullets come out in one of 3 different styles, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.Sometimes I'll get a black circle, other times it will be a four-sided diamond, other times it will be a square.Anyone know what could be causing this? Many thanks,Kevin

Kevin,Are you creating the bulleted list in SP ... or are you pasting it from Word?Tim
I have encountered it. I've found that if I return after the last bullet, it changes to the smaller size and then I can back space to remove the return and it stays uniform.I have encountered it. Our team has noticed that bullets dont like publisher 4.1. What we've done is eliminate all "word" coding. Change your document to TXT or RTF. Then once thetext is in publisher put in the bullet (as a letter) you desire from wingdings (or another font style) Our team has noticed that bullets dont like publisher 4.1. I've tried removing the bullets from word, copying the material then pasting directly into Publisher. Once in Publisher I highlight all the text and press the "bullet" icon and what happens is the bullets are placed there, but for some reason, the final bullet is bigger than the proceeding ones.Anyone else encounter this in Publisher 4.1?Thanks,Kevin
Sorry, I was pasting from Word. But thing is, when I paste from Word, they are all showing as one type of bullet. But when I paste into Publisher and publish - forget about it. Different formats for different pages for the bullets.KevinEdited By: kstagg on 38434.730775463
