Publisher text formatting...
January 7, 2005 12:00 AM
Am curious as to whether the next release of Publisher (due out Feb 2005) will have better text formatting options? For example, Publisher 4.1 doesn't allow one to "set" the values for "tab" or "bulleted lists" and so what looks great in preview looks terrible once published, with the text all out of alignment. I have to go into dreamweaver to put in "non-breaking spaces" to fix these pages. However once I publish again, the whole wicked process has to be start over, with the fixes omitted. Also, will next release of Publisher be CSS-friendly?Many thanks -KevinEdited By: kstagg on 38359.502650463

Saba Publisher 5.0 is based on the Lectora 2004 product line. Draw your own conclusions as to what's in the product and what's not based on the other topics in the forums relating to Lectora 2004.Tim V
I didn't see anything in there being mentioned about there being CSS compatability?:[
I don't supposed there's a chart or article somewhere showing features of Lectura 2004?Thanks,Kevin
Here you go: Lectora 2004 data sheet VS Lectora 2005 Data SheetOf course, the 2004 PDF does not include new features added by service pack updates. These can be found by reading the SP notes from the service center.
