Variables randomly resetting in Lectora X?

I don't know if this is really a Lectora X issue, but I've not seen it happen before. We have a title that uses a lot of variables, including quizzes. These variables determine what contents are changed and which images show.
Unfortunately, a lot of our testers are reporting inconsistent behaviors. I have personally taken a quiz of 12 questions where I answered each question correctly, but only 2 registered correctly. In the feedback screens, we change the contents of a text box to match the student's selection, but they come out as blank. We know the action to change the contents is firing, because the text box initially says, "(Loading)". When I go back through the quiz again, the answers registered. Everyone is experiencing different issues with these variables.
Is there a known bug with Lectora X when it comes to variables? I've never seen anything quite as blatant before.
