Inserting Camtasia video into Lectora

I've been a long-time user of Lectora, but I only recently upgraded to Lectora Inspire. This also upgraded my Camtasia from v6 to v8, which is great.

I updated a video in Camtasia and am in the process of updating the Lectora title that houses it. Previously, this was a SWF in the main title. I produced the Camtasia video in MP4 format (no SWF option) and was able to add it to the Lectora title just fine.

My problem is that the MP4 play bar no longer has the CC button. When I open the HTML page created by Camtasia, the CC button is in the playbar. When I add the MP4 to my Lectora title, the CC button is not there. Does anyone has suggestions on how to re-establish the CC button in the MP4? I synced up my captions all in Camtasia and really don't want to do it again in Lectora.

When publishing in Camtasia, if you use the Custom Production settings, make sure that on the Controller tab, the Produce With Controller box is checked..and on the Options Tab, make sure that the Captions box is checked. Your video will be created with its own controller (won't use Lectora's). If you use Lectora's video controller, then it seems as though you can import your caption file..and it places a CC On/CCOff toggle button at the top of the video. I don't use CC that often, so I am not an expert...but this might get you started.

I am also losing the CC options, once uploaded to Lectora Inspire. They work nicely before the upload. Not sure why they disappear? The above post is a few years old so I am wondering if there is any new advice/options out there?

Thanks in advance.
