Randomizing Test Questions

Hello all. I'm still new to this so hopefully there is something I'm simply overlooking. The Help section in Lectora pointed me in the right direction, but I still can't quite get it the way I want it. My question is in regards to randomizing the test questions.
I have 16 pages/questions within ''Test Section 1.' I want to randomly choose 10 of those questions for the test, then move on to the 'Last Test Page.' which does not have a question on it, but then branches to either a 'Passed' or 'Failed' page (located in the next Chapter - "Results"), which would display a score.
I've went into the Test Chapter and Test Section properties and selected 'Random Selection of Pages' and set it to 10. Do both need to be set, or will setting just one work?
I've played around with it and still can't get it to go through the ten questions and go to the 'Last Test Page.' Sometimes it will show one question, then nine, then three... usually before telling me that I have 'failed' (due to now going through enough questions?).
Should I leave out the 'Last Test Page' and jump directly to the 'Passed' or 'Fail' page? And if so, will that submit their score?
Maybe I'm just staring at it too much! Thanks in advance to anyone that could get me going in the right direction.
(I'm using Lectora vX.4 with Internet Explorer)
