How to add Pop-ups

Hi Guys,
I am new to lectora and trying to build this page where you click on the image and it opens a popup. I know I can use action and window properties to build one. But I dont want to use window properties option.
Can you guys please suggest any other way to build popup windows.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
