Captivate in Lectora

Hi Guys,
I am trying to insert a captivate file into a lectora course and have the two communicate through javascript so the learner can't just skip the course page. Currently my courses are set up so that every page inherits the forward and back button capabilities, which means the learners can just click the forward button and not participate in the captivate tutorial. I know I can disinherit the forward button on that page and create a forward button in captivate but how can I make that button in captivate communicate with lectora?
Any help will be highly appreciated.
