Calling External Files

Good Morning,
This is my first post here to the Trivantis Lectora forum, so hopefully i can help give back to the community as well. My question is probably quite easy to answer by the pros here.
I have an e course that uses SWF files to provide the learning material to the student. As there are some external content using a localized servers (due to content size), i use the URLRequest for the page and it works flawlessly when projected through IE9. Now when I try to convert this to a CD for offline use, it obviously won't be able to call the content from that server.
Is there a way that I can use URLRequest or some other function in Flash AS3 to call the external xyz.swf from the extern folder of Lectora?
