I find that in the great Captivate vs Camtasia debate, these tend to be the big lines in the sand:1) Camtasia exports to a variety of video formats and EXEs, whereas Captivate only exports to SWF and EXE.2) Captivate allows for "manipulative simulations" -- simulations that require user input -- whereas Camtasia is just a "demonstration" tool (but is arguably much better at that than Captivate is)... exports cleaner and smaller files.I find that a lot of people eventually end up buying both, but of course, it just depends on your needs.Edited By: jkunrein on 2008-2-20 15:40:31
