Remove Unused on Publish. Move is better

I think that one of the reasons that I like to keep unused files sometimes is to have the option to change my mind and go back to, say, an earlier version of a graphic if I want. The unused graphics in my graphics folder are usually a result of deleting a graphic that I had had in my course or replacing it with a different image (or the same image republished as a different file type), rather than because I threw a bunch of files in the images folder and then never used them.I do agree that it's important to keep backups of everything on the network -- I even keep zip files of whatever I changed since the last time I worked on the course. Doing this may be overkill most of the time, but at least once it really saved my bacon being able to go back to a much older version and retrieve a graphic which I had unintentionally subsequentially replaced by a file by the same name for use in another module of the course.I suspect that the wisest, most prudent course is somewhere between the obsessive "keep freak" that I have a tendancy towards (although I think I'm getting a little better about that) and the "scorched earth" policy of the super-confident Just my $.02 of course...Laura
