Are "Additional Files" Loaded at LAUNCH?

I am having difficulty in getting a course, which is relatively thin in size to load at all for dial up uses (don't get me started) and hang occasionally for others.I looked deeper into the course, and this is the only course I authored where I allowed the users to download directly from the course the parent PPT presentation. As I embedded this into the Lectora project as an "Additional files" tab of the "Title Properties" context menu.My question is this: Does Lectora (version 2007 - launched as a SCORM Course on Learn.com LMS) attempt and insist on caching the PPT (currently 650k) as the course is loaded during the splash screen?If so this would be the culpret and I will remove and then create a link to the file from within the LMS directly on the launch page vs. embedding into Lectora.Any assistance is greatly appreciated.Cheers
