Help with Show/Hide Action

Make sure that on the text block you have selected as not initially visible does not have the on show action to show itself attached to it. The action must be on the page level or on one of the other text blocks that is being shown. The reason for this is the action states on show and if the text block is not initally visible, it will never be shown unless you have an action somewhere else that is set to show it first.
